Description

Zuvassin delights in the unmaking of plans. He was long ago shunned by most of his uncles and auntss for continually making mischief and foiling their seemingly unbeatable plans. More often than not, Zuvassin found an ally in his twin brother, Nechoco.  Zuvassin, is sometimes considered a beloved trickster god, but he nonetheless contains a sinister streak, unmaking crucial objects or concepts and critical moments, often to the horror of those involved.

Iconography

Zuvassin is most often portrayed as a shriveled, bald old man with pointed teeth, a mischeivous grin usually missing one limb: an arm or leg, in rarer cases he is portrayed as not having an eye, or a mouth or a nose.

Cult History

The cults of Zuvassin had all but died out by the Age of Legends , worshiped only by a handful of Skaaven tribes and isolated, perverse humans in the Northernmost reaches of Skandervaad and Nuscovy. He was resuced from being completely forgotten by Maris Dalkin, a half-aleven monk of the Gifted Ones. He pledged himself to Zuvassin and in return the god granted him the power to unmake. While the arrangement began as a one between diety and parishoner, it quickly evolved into a symbiotic partnership. Maris Dalkin was often depicted in later representations with the God clinging feebly around his neck. Other than Dalkin's faction of the Order of the Gifted Ones, Zuvassin is largely forgotten.

Zuvassin, like his brother, Nechoco, does not seek power for himself. Rather, he seeks to undo the plans of his uncles and uncle-aunt. He delights in throwing wrenches into the grand schemes of his mother's siblings, be it through recruiting a key cultist away form them or sending a lackey to defile a sanctified altar.
