Spirit Salmon are white phospherescent salmon that inhabit the rivers and streams and bays of the Greylands, Nuscovy and the Winterlands. Their phospherescent cells form what appear to be eldritch markings on the surface of their skin. They are said to be river guardians that herald the coming of some great forest spirit, and are usually asociated with the god Shamok. They behave identically to all other salmon, though their unusual markings make them the subject of much folklore.
