The Societé des Ombres is the brance of the Sevillan Government that deals with Foreign Affairs.  It is headed by Veronica Lafayette, the First Champion of the Societé.  As it deals with subterfuge, it recruits quite heavily from the phaelxo (Shade) school of Seagarden.
