Prusilla Chasefield, darling child of a divorcé Lord and the stage actress he briefly and disastrously married.

She has the third highest social status of the party, coming behind Gerund Lennaire and Sylviana de Nedici.

Pru was raised by her mother, Emma Darling, a popular Ivortonian stage actress, until she was four. Her mother died of food poisoning, and Pru was sent back to live with her estranged father, Lord Chester Chasefield of Chalk Hill. Vain, fastidious, effeminate and certainly uninterested in child-rearing, he shipped her off to a Sanka'alian convent at Reved to become a sister of the River God. Discontent, she ignored the sisters' teachings and resigned herself to a life of ennui until she befriended Lady Volumnia Crane, wife of Lord Petyr Crane, whose holdings included the Island of Reved. Lady Crane had been a great admirer of Emma Darling's stage career and was delighted to meet her progeny.

During one of the soirées held at the Crane household, Pru was able to meet Irvine Crane, the prodigal son of the household, and, after explainging to him how she was cruelly being held at the convent and that the Crane family was her only solace, succeeded in winning him over to her cause: escaping the convent.

Irvine showed her his father's collection of half-hearted clocktech inventions, including an automatic hover-boat, which was used in the eventual escape. Disgraced in his parents' eyes, Irvine set off for parts unknown and Pru found herself working various odd-jobs. Eventually she came to work as a barmaid at the Fools-Rush-Inn in Thorvahld. There she ingratiated herself into the bed (if not the heart) of Kelein Follendorfer and from there became ensconsed with the party.

Pru keeps few mementos of her life previous, preferring not to be discovered by her father or the Cranes. Of note, however is a small ragdoll that had belonged to her mother. The keepsake is Pru's one reminder of her admitedly exciting former life.

       Pru was born with an immensly aesthetically pleasing combination of her parents features. She got the Chasefield delicate cheek bones and long fingers paired with her mother's fiery red hair and dark green, mischeivous eyes. The combination of her father's willowy genes and her mother's voluptuous form gave her a curvaceous but svelte body. After her betrayal of the chaos god Slaanesh, Pru was horribly deformed. Her face is a burned and mutilated ruin, with partially missing lips and nose. A hole in her cheek exposes the workings of jer jaw and teeth and every surface is covered in angry red scar tissue. She was left her eyes and eyelids which now stare out of the horror show of her visage mired in deep sadness where once mischief reigned. Deep gouges where she tried to scratch off her boiling skin created claw rends across her forehead. Her body was left almost cruelly untouched, and in its pale, freckled perfection stands in stark contrast to her tragic face.
