Description

Nechoco, like his twin, Zuvassin, seeks little power for himself. Rather, he wishes to doubt the existence of his uncles and uncle-aunt. Nechoco taks doubt very seriously, and while some may call him a liar and his teachings lies, he prefers to think of them as rhetorical devices, capable of bending truth itself. Doubt is sufficient for Nechoco to puncture holes in reality, and in doubting the truth, perhaps it ceases to be.

Iconography

Nechoco is usually portrayed as a man with no facial features save a mouth. Sometimes he is portrayed as having muffled ears, blindfolded eyes, or a stopped up nose. Nechoco will take in no outer stimulus, but will speak against them all.

Nechoco has a few cults scattered throughout the world, but vastly prefers to target atheists, philosophers and great thinkers, riddling them with the statement: "I am the god of doubt." They usually reply with, "How can there be a god of doubt?" From that initial moment of doubting Nechoco, they are his. His cults include the Bloody Tongue, the Brotherhood of Sophistry, and the Unspeakers. Purveyors of his word prefer to call themselves rhetors and while he does have some presence in Harkania, the vast majority of his worshipers, as expected, are in Mycopalusia.
