Kelein FollendorferKelein Follendorfer is a Searlander Priest of Mynothis and member of the party. He wields Barak-ul, the chaosbane greatsword of St. Cuthbert, which he retrieved from a crypt after visitations by the former owner. He rides a domesticated ladon Rauschteiger who stands five-feet at the shoulder. He is father to a teenage son Rudolph who lives with his mother Liesl in Kemperbaad. Like most from his village, Kelein's tolerance for alcohol is incommensurable.
BackgroundKelein Follendorfer was born in the small farming and brewing village of Wirkeheld, best known for the production of shtaut. He and childhood friend Kraunder Links joined the priesthood, looking for adventure and a way out of their pastoral existence. In his late teens, he fought as a mercenary in Campaign: The Wars on the Trianguarde.
AppearanceKelein is 6'9 or thereabouts, broad in the shoulders and chest with a mane of blonde hair that falls to his mid back and seemingly permanent stubble. His features are broad and handosme with blue eyes a cleft chin, but his face and body are criss-crossed with numerous scars, remnants of past battles. His chest is tattooed with fading blue swirls and patterns, sacred to Mynothis.
PersonalityKelein's size, provincial Searlander accent, and jovial disposition belie a shrewd understanding of human nature; he indulges this persona judiciously when dealing outside his area of influence. As a priest of the god of valor, he considers it his sacred duty to uphold good and protect the meek. He has no love of order, viewing legislation and bureaucracy as tools of the cowardly and unscrupulous. An insatiable warrior in his youth, he is proficient in the use of swords, axes, and bludgeons, often wielding two at once. He has mellowed in his thirties, and when all's said and done, would rather mediate than rely on martial prowess (well, sometimes, but with a stick is as big as his you can generally afford to talk). In Kelein's view, the threat of a sound thrashing is enough to keep most men in line.
Kelein believes Mynothis has charged him with ridding the world of Chaos; in pursuit of this greater task, he has been forced to confront his insular xenophobia in taking up arms with Naga, practicioners of black arts, their unholy spawn, four arms, and creatures infected with the chaos itself.
On off-nights with the party he can be found carousing, debauching, and crime-fighting with Gerund Lennaire.
