The Kekrates Argentum is a mercenary fleet with a Sevillian privateering liscence run by Mycopalusian pirate and hero of the Wars on the Trianguarde, Jason Ulixys.

The ships of the fleet fly black sails emblazoned with a golden ram's head, and their hulls are painted red, the better to hide bloodstains. The Kekrates Argentum is largely made up of simple longships which feature oarsmen and a number of variously shaped rams. Lacking cannons and other such innovations in naval combat, the fleet compensates by employing experienced, daredevil sailors who are fond of launching surprise attacks against unsuspecting merchant vessels from deadly shallows, pinnacles of rock, and skimming along the tops of near un-navigable reefs. They operate in the Eastern Seas, along the Marble Coast, around the Straights of the Trianguarde, all the way down to R'hundalla, Arcadia, and the Islands of the Dawn Sea.

The Kektrates Argentum is named for the mythical sailor-hero of Mycopalusia, Kekrates. They see themselves as the lords of a silver-age of naval innovation.
