Hippotaxi are large, friendly rodents, distant relatives of the squirrel. Years of domestication have bread them into a creature, distinctly equine in shape, with long powerful legs and sturdy back muscles, perfect for riding.
Hippotaxi were fist domesticated by the Caromagians of Villehardouin, sometime around the 3rd millenium BA. Though the horse was already the favored animal.
