Hieronymous Blitzen (1636-present) is a thaumaturge of considerable skill. He was trained at Seagarden in the phaelor school as an elementalist and was asked to stay on as a professor. However, interested in a more egalitarian vision of thaumic access for all who were interested, he moved back to his native Nuln and became a tutor of the arcane arts, teaching petty thaumaturgy to those who showed a special gift. With the growing corruption of the Searland he became a dedicated opponent of the forces of chaos, eventually becomming a member of the Order of the Comet, at the behest of Dorian Savage.
