Chandraliera Kronk

Chandraliera was a Harkanian Bellgrim, born into servitude in the Sylvan Court.

background

She was owned and misused by the infamously cruel Coriolanus Spiritwillow, an aelven priest. He had owned her mother and brother as well. The mother had been beaten to death by Coriolanus when Chandraliera was six or seven. The brother he kept as a champion pit fighter, until his death in the ring. Coriolanus presented Chandraliera with her brother's bloody head as a grisly reminder of the power he weilded. Coriolanus delighted in the rape and torture of his thralls, and went so far to impregnate Chandraliera only to ensure an abortion some months later. It was after this incident that Chandraliera flew into a rage, murdered Coriolanus and fled the Sylvan court.

She wandered aimlessly for the better part of a year before happening upon a ritual dedicating a drowned sacrifice to the goddess of the sea, Aroa. With renewed faith in the power of a chaotic, but caring mother goddess, set out to spread the message of Aroan benevolence across the land.

Sadly, she was captured almost immediately by Skaaven cultists who intended to sacrifice her to Nurgle. She was rescued by the legendary party and immediately found herself among caring if not entirely sympathetic allies. Over her journeys with her new compatriots she fell in love with a Sevinic human stableboy, Corwinus Laitus Cruciatus and matched swords with Coriolanus' embittered wife, Zaladriel.

Chandraliera's daring escape from slavery inspired many other slaves.  The surname "Kronk" was adopted by a multitude of freed and escaped slaves alike and became a commonly used symbol of liberation.
