Bryisis Lafarel is a Rh'unfolver Madame, and the former proprietor of the White Rose.

Bryisis was born in Godrol in the Ugarite Valley to a R'hundallese whore named Ishta'rahsha al'Tullare. Her father was one of her mother's customers: a dim and brutal Ugari merchant named Hadiq Pashke. At the age of eight when her father returned to the brothel to retrieve her and sell her in slavery, she slit his throat while he slept and left her drug-addled and insensate mother to burn in a fire she set, taking only her five year old half brother, Ral'ahn.

From their they fled across the Ugarite Valley, living as beggars and thieves. Bryisis learned to prostitute herself just after puberty, using the threat of an unseen pimp to scare her clients into compliance. By the time they left the Ugarite Valley, she was adept in both the arts of love and finance. She finally made her way to Questille where, at age 15 she was taken in by the Lafarel crime family as the head Madame of several brothels. It was their that her half brother Sevillized his name to Rallane and, sickened by his sister naked ambition, stole away to Harkania.

At age 18 Bryisis, unsatisfied with her cut of the Lafarel syndicate's money, tactfully sold off her business and departed for Harkania, in search of her brother and more sound business oppurtunities. She used Lafarel contacts to help found the White Rose, a discrete, high-end brothel in Ivortown. Over the next ten years, she gained a considerable reputation as shrewd, ruthless business woman as well as a mysterious and exotic flower of the Orient. She aquired numerous whores, bodyguards and admirers making her an institution unto herself.
