Al'Madhi Raschid (1674-present) is a Vaikun dervish and a member of the party. He is first and foremost a scholar of R'hundallese religious lore which has led him down the mystic paths of combat and Dervishist performance. He considers them art first and martial second.

background

Born to a wealthy merchant family in Ir'al'Quadesh, Al'Madhi was raised from a young age to be a faithful and obedient servant of R'hun. He chose a life of scholarship and entered the Madrasah Seljak al-Firim to continue his studies. It was there that he first encountered the charismatic Ulema, Suileman ibn Farishta. Under Farishta's tutelage, Al'Madhi learned not only the basic pillars of the Faith of R'hun but Farishta's radical seperatist beliefs that included the abolition of r'hunhaz'al-fad,among other heresies. Al'Madhi, himself particular ungifted psychically, felt that such reforms were prudent towards greater understanding of R'hun and his mysteries.

It was Suileman's connection to the Vaikun Sand Witch, Muhhura'dom al'Sai tha t earned him the enmity of the Hojatoler'hun and attendant Imams. As members of the Farishta Cabal began to dissapear, Al'Madhi and several other faithful began to take up more militant arts in preparation for the coming counter-insurgency. As Farishta's network of safeguards fell through and real danger began to be a threat for Al'Madhi he fled R'hundalla entirely, traveling to the impossibly distnat Harkania in an effort to resist the eyes and, more importantly, knives of the Hojatoler'hun.

After wandering for a few months around the Greylands he made the aquaintence of Trea Skeczivis and her mysterious companion who identified himself only as The Prince in Gray. Together they explored remote regions of the Forest, encountering an avatar of Shamok who seemed to possess the information that Trea and her prince were seeking. Shortly after, the two abandoned him and, inspired by stories of celebration in the city of Thorvahld, far to the south, he unexpectedly met up with his former companions, the latter of which now called himself Gerund Lennaire. After that he was introduced to the party, forever sealing his fate.
