The ruinous powers of chaos are rising in the world. First among them is Tzeentch, the dark god of change, revolution and hope. Tzeentch's will manifests not as an enemy without, an invading army at the gates of ordered civilization, but as an enemy within: cults, cabals and political dissidents who seek to rot the infrastructure of society until it collapses into chaos.

Currently, the party is trying to keep a pernicious and powerful cult of Tzeentch, the Purple Hand, from overthrowing the government of the jewel-city of Thorvahld. They have just discovered that the grand magus of the Hand is Alexander Roarke, a powerful and seemingly compassionate Judge.
